Welcome to Coosawattee River Resort and Ellijay, Georgia. We are located in the foot hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just one hour North of Atlanta and one hour South of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Ellijay is a quaint, friendly little town that is growing every day because of its charm, beauty and remoteness.

Located just outside of Ellijay is our home, an 8,500 acre gated community. Many people who visit get what I like to call "Coosawattee Fever" as it is a place that many can't get out of their minds as they return to their respective cities around the south.
A few of us call it home year round, while many prefer to keep it as a "get-away". My husband and I live here year round and enjoy the solitude that we find at Coosawattee.

We have many reasons for wanting to get this page out on the internet, first and foremost was to provide information to the 10,000 + property owners out there needing information on our area.
